As the title suggests, these are really easy ways to make money. But I dont really use these a lot anymore. I still do surveys sometimes and get my 500 yen coupon cards, but I usually use my free time to work on my websites. The websites make a lot more money.

8 Ways to Make in Japan Online
Oh how I miss the college years in America where I could make my beer money by selling plasma, or recycling cans and bottles. I’ve been a penny pincher my whole life, so when I came to Japan I tried to find ways to make easy money. Unfortunately, giving plasma and recycling cans were not a good option. But I did find some good ways to make money in Japan online. Here are 8 ways to make money from the comfort of your own home. They wont make you rich, but they will put easy money in your pocket. Sign up for a few of these and make them part of your weekly routine and the money will start to add up.
These websites are divided into two groups. The first four options are online surveys and last four options are website usability tests.
Make money in Japan online idea #1: e-gaikokujin Recruiting
e-gaikokujin Recruiting is a pretty good site that I use often. It is easy to use and the pay is decent considering the time put in. They do product testing and online surveys.
After signing up with them, they will send you notices to your email about product testing or surveys available.
I have never done product testing with them but I done a lot of their surveys. If you have done product testing with this company, please leave me a comment and tell me how it was.
- Online Survey
When you receive an email about an available survey, follow the link in the email and complete the survey. Make sure to read the email that they send you. Your person code will be included in that email and using that code is how they know who to pay.
The survey could be about anything. Where do you shop? How often do you communicate with your parents? Are you satisfied with Japan`s transportation system? Or just about anything else.
Each survey takes about 10 or 15 minutes to complete and the payout is usually 500 yen.
Payments come in the mail in the form of 500 yen QUO gift cards. These cards can be used like cash at convenience stores, bookstores, drugstores, family restaurants and some other places.
Sometimes they will send notifications of bigger surveys that take longer but pay a lot better. These big surveys could more than three hours to do, but they pay around 10,000 yen.
That is a pretty good way to make money in Japan online!
Make money in Japan online idea #2: My Survey
My Survey has surveys available in multiple countries and isn’t a bad way to make money in Japan online!
These surveys can be done on PC, laptop, tablet, smart phone or mobile apps.
Take 10-15 minute surveys and collect points. These points can be used to get a lot of different things including money!
Things like gift cards, e-certificates, vouchers, money, electronic items, home items as well as being entered into their sweepstakes program where you can win big prizes.
After getting a certain amount of points, you can trade them in to get some really nice things and payouts can also be done through Paypal.
I really love being able to get paid by PayPal. It makes getting paid so much easier than other methods.
Make money in Japan online idea #3: Tuluna
Tuluna is a survey site which also gives points for taking surveys and questionnaires. This website is used in many countries around the world and is reliable to use.
The average survey takes about 10-15 minutes to finish with some taking longer. Of course, the longer surveys are worth more points!
Participants earn between 15 and 20,000 points per assignment, depending on length.
Points are redeemed for Amazon vouchers or tickets to enter their sweepstakes for products or getaway trips.
Payments via PayPal are also available.
Make money in Japan online idea #4: i-say
i-say is part of the global market research company ISOS and they to are pretty reliable.
They offer surveys that take around 10-15 minutes to complete and each survey taken, earns points.
Through their bonus system, the more surveys you take, the more bonus points you will get and therefore your points will accumulate faster and faster.
Points can be traded in for gift cards from Amazon and other places. Prepaid Visa gift cards are also available as payments. You choose how you want to redeem your points.
There is also a possibility of winning prizes from this site!
Doing online surveys is a great way to make money in Japan online!
Make money in Japan online idea #5: Enroll App
Enroll app offers website usability tests.– This is different from taking online surveys. Website usability tests are designed to get users opinions and to see how easy a certain website is to navigate and use.
After signing up with Enroll app you will be given assignments to complete. These assignments can be fast or sometimes they will take a long time to complete.
You can choose PC, tablet or smart phone as your preferred method of testing.
Some of the assignments are simple questions like “Which logo do you prefer?” or some assignments ask you to navigate a page and give feedback on whether it is easy to use or not.
The length and pay for these assignments greatly varies. Some take a long time to complete but some are super short.
Recently, I did an assignment that was completed in under two minutes and I was paid $0.10.
That is not a lot of money but it was easy and fast. Keep doing assingments like this and do some of the longer assignments and the money begins to add up.
Enroll app makes payments through PayPal.
Make money in Japan online idea #6: Userfeel
Userfeel is another website usability test provider and a good way to make money in Japan online.
One big thing to keep in mind about before joining this site is that this site requires you to have a microphone.
You will be given tasks to complete and while you are doing the tasks, you need to speak your opinions and your reactions in real time.
It is kind of a pain having to use a mic, but you get used to it after awhile.
Some of the tasks that they might ask you to do include; finding a product on a website and putting it in your shopping cart or navigating through the site and stating your opinions on how easy or difficult it is to use.
Each test takes about 10 – 20 minutes to complete and on average pay about $10 per test.
Though some tests pay up to $60!
Payments are made with PayPal.
Tip: The better your feedback is, the more tests they will ask you to take. Therefore, the more money you make.
Make money in Japan online idea #7: Userlytics
Userlytics is a website that pays you to test the usability of websites and apps.
This website also requires a microphone and most likely a webcam as wel.
Again, I am not a fan of the mic or the webcam, but they pay pretty good and you get used to speaking to the camera.
It is very similar to Userfeel, except that they use a camera in additional to a mic.
After signing up you will receive tasks to be completed. Navigating websites, finding things on a page, using their shopping cart and etc..
Your actions, reactions and feedback will be recorded throughout the session.
The tasks given are for determining how user friendly a site is and for finding ways to improve a site.
Payments are made through Paypal and are usually $5-20, but payments can be as much as $90 per test.
Again, the better your feedback is, the more creditable you become and the more you will get paid.
Make money in Japan online idea #8: User Testing
User Testing is also pays you for website and app usability.
You need a microphone for this site, and the tasks given are the same as userfeel and userlytics.
Complete the tasks given to you and then you answer questions and give your opinions about the site or app.
They pay $10-20 per test and each test last about 20 minutes.
Payments can go up to as much as $60 per test!
Payments are made through PayPal.
This is really not a bad way to make money in Japan online.
